WHAT THE CONFERENCE IS ABOUT

This confidence conference is about bringing together girls age 8-13 for a day of fun, confidence building activities. We have inspiring educators and coaches work with the girls in activity based learning so at the end of the day, they take home a tool box of concepts that will help them navigate tween and teen girl life.
We want to help our girls know that we believe in them and help them believe in themselves.
Our mission is to unleash little She-Roes all over Edmonton, and beyond!

WHAT HAPPENS AT THE CONFERENCE

The Conference is divided up into four different activities. Our SHE-Ro Squad, the onstage educators, will lead the group of girls  through activities from the stage. The girls will also have Table Coaches – these coaches will lead their table team through the activities in closer format. The Educators and Table Coaches are leaders from our community who have been curated to be some of the most inspiring and encouraging people in Edmonton.

Our Super SHE-Ro Themed Event will cover the following topics:
The Super Power of YOU – Learning to love your unique self
The Super Power of Positivity – Learning to build a growth mindset
The Super Power of Kindness – Learn to be inclusive and foster community and friendships – dealing with “mean girls” and bullies in a strong, but kind way.
Super Shero Strength – Fitness, Health and Self Defence – Learning how strong our bodies are and the importance of a strong healthy body and knowing how to defend yourself.

MEET OUR

TABLE COACHES

The participants will be divided into tables of 6-10 girls. Each table makes up a Team. Each Team has a brilliant, beautiful amazing woman assigned as a Table Coach! These Coaches will guide and mentor the girls through out each of the activities presented by the speakers. This format allows the girls to foster friendships with their teammates, get guidance by their coach, and overall build a sense of community and team spirit!
